Qwan Ki Do emblem
The official emblem of Qwan Ki Do is the dragon shown above. It is also the emblem of the Vietnamese people and the spirit of chivalry. Whatever their nationality, all Qwan Ki Do practitioners wear the same emblem at heart level on the left side of their uniform (Võ Phục). This emblem is the official symbol of Qwan Ki Do and the International Qwan Ki Do Federation (the only official federation recognized by Thây Chuong Môn PHAM Xuân Tong).
On this emblem :
- The outer circle represents the universe, infinity and “Vô Cuc”
- The dragon forms the second circle, representing the circle of life, “Thai Cuc”.
- The Lac Long Dragon represents the spirit of chivalry
- The two small circles of Am and Duong: harmony between body and mind.
If we consider that green and blue are assimilated to the same color in traditional Vietnamese painting, then the Qwan ki Do emblem is composed of five colors:
- White: Purity (synthesis of all colors).
- Black: Determination, Seriousness.
- Yellow: Lucidity, Clear-sightedness, Generosity.
- Red: Courage, Combativeness.
- Green or Blue: Goodness, Will, Hope.
