Qwan Ki Do, a modern martial art based on ancient traditions, requires an appropriate structure for its teaching and dissemination. In 1981, its founder, Th\u00e0y Chuong M\u00f4n Ph\u1ea1m Xu\u00e2n Tong, set up an international organization to develop the discipline. Following the worldwide growth of Qwan Ki Do and the success of its competitions, an international federation was founded in 2012 in Toulon (France): the International Qwan Ki Do Federation And Associated Disciplines, with its headquarters in Canada. This federation manages and coordinates the competitive activities and development of Qwan Ki Do while respecting its technical and ethical traditions, under the supervision of the Founder Master. It reflects the fundamental duality of \u0110\u1ea1o, a principle of Taoist philosophy.<\/p>

Qwan Ki Do is based on a balance between strength and suppleness, speed and power, tradition and modernity, action and wisdom. These concepts are reflected as much in its technical dimension as in its administrative organization, whether on a small or large scale.<\/p>

Its aim is also to develop and perpetuate Qwan Ki Do in terms of grade evaluation, technical programming, ethics and training. It is the only International Federation recognized by the Master Founder of QWAN KI DO, Th\u00e0y Ch\u01b0\u1edfng M\u00f4n PHAM Xu\u00e2n Tong.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    • Recognition: Qwan Ki Do has won international recognition from prestigious institutions such as UNESCO, the Vietnam Olympic Committee and other organizations.<\/li>

      The International Qwan Ki Do Federation organizes \u201cClub Championships\u201d, enabling a wide participation of students, even in countries with limited resources. These competitions give clubs the opportunity to gain international recognition, thus promoting democratic access to the sport.

      Since its creation, the federation has organized several international competitions, including African, Pan-American, European and world championships, with landmark events such as the first world championship in Milan in 1994.

      Bringing together over thirty countries and several thousand students, Qwan Ki Do has adapted itself as a sport, enabling everyone to test their skills in a competitive environment.
